Dear Prime Minister,

We would like to talk to you about the amazing Garden To Table program that we have at our school. We go to a school called Owairaka District School which is an Enviro school which means we take extra care of the environment. We hope that if we tell you about Garden to Table that you can help with other schools to get it.

Garden To Table is a friendly activity where you can cook yummy and interesting food, if you do some gardening you'll eat yummy food from the kitchen. You can try new foods that looked weird but are actually really nice. Like for instance the banana skin muffins i thought it would taste…weird. But it actually was the best muffins we have had this year (2018.) So kids can try new things.
Also Garden To Table can be traditional. One time we even had Turkish food and japanese food which was delicious. With the japanese we had some sushi and two salads. .At gardening we water plants, we dig up mulch and we harvest tomatoes, cauliflower, potatoes and corn, this is how we make it fair we split into groups, one group for gardening and one group for cooking. We are so lucky to have this at owairaka district school so we want to share this excitement with other schools.

Yours sincerely 🔥Luka, Omar and Muhamood.🔥
